Wooden Rosary Crosses

Postby rross » Thu Mar 27, 2014 4:09 pm

Does anyone know of a source of supply for wooden rosary crosses, about 3" X 2" for use in making large house/family rosaries? The accompanying beads would be about 20 mm in diameter.

Does anyone know of a source of supply for wooden rosary crosses/crucifixes of any size?

Thanks.

rross, I wonder if you were to contact customer service at some Catholic supply stores, maybe they would have more resources to locate and special-order that size crucifix for you?

Here is the only 3-inch wooden crucifix I could find:

There may be others at this supplier, but I did not have more time to search.

Two or three years ago I purchased some similar crucifixes from this store. (But mine were a smaller size, 2.25" or thereabouts.) They were very nice. When I received my order, the corpus on one of the crucifixes had detached somehow. so I added an extra drop of epoxy glue in between the wood and corpus on each of them to make sure they would stay secure. I remember that the customer service people at this place were very helpful.

Peace be with you.
