I know the Website has been down for awhile, just wondering where everyone is.

Here I am, at the public library. I just checked for new jobs to apply for, then tried again to see if OLRM was up and running.

I'm discouraged, and trying not to worry about running out of money, but I'm still making rosaries, and still using part of my tithe money to mail them to missions.

Mary garden

Postby Maire » Mon May 30, 2011 1:39 pm

Crown of Joy,
I've been wanting to tell you: it always makes me happy to see the photo of your beautiful flowers in honor of Our Lady.
(Are those impatiens?)

Several years ago some dear friends of our family gave me a tin of seeds to plant a "Mary garden". Despite my lack of green thumb, a few of the flowers have been returning every year. Right now we have blooming some Sweet William ("Our Lady's Cushion") and Bleeding Heart ("Mary's Heart").

There is a nice article about Mary gardens here:

God bless you.

Yes Mary those are impatiens I have those every year. I like them because they are nice and full and grow on the low side, there are only 12 plants in that circle. Our Lady's statue is 3 free tall.
