What a beautiful gift of grace we all have received, to be Rosary makers for Our Lady! I was placed on this path five years ago in April and have experienced such peace and happiness.

Thank you to everyone here for your sharing of faith and talents. Somehow I missed OLRM forum before now and look forward to reading more. Will keep checking back to learn from you and to pray with you.

Peace be with you.
Mary

Rosaries for Troops

Hi Maria

It is so nice to see new rosary makers. You will receive many blessings. The people who pray with our Rosaries pray for us as well. I'm happy that you want to make rosaries for our troops. There is always a need for more.

The cord that most people use to make all-knotted rosaries is #36 thickness. OLRM now carries this size twine in a variety of colors. To make military rosaries for use in combat zones, you would need to use specific camouflage colors. Further information is at this link:

Yes, the black crucifixes are from OLRM, item M51.

They are very nice. I like to use a short piece of fishing line as a "needle threader" to pull the cord through the hole.

Our Lady's Rosary Makers collects rosaries for our Armed Forces. If you make mission rosaries with cord and beads, all-black ones could be donated here. All the supplies you would need are sold at OLRM. More information is in this thread:

I remember it took me some time at first to get the hang of the knots. If that happens for you, just stay patient and keep practicing... little by little it gets easier.

God bless you.
Maire
