Maire,

I never thought of myself as being chosen to be a rosary maker, I just felt it was a "safe" activity for someone who doesn't want to teach children, be in charge of a church group, or anything else that requires too much responsibility. I just sit at home, make wire rosaries, and mail them to someone in the U.S. who'll see that they get distributed to those most in need of them.

I hope that your home May crowning goes well, and leaves you feeling blessed.

Right now I'm quite upset over what to do if there are no presidential candidates that I can vote for in good conscience. So I make rosaries, and that helps me remember that all is not lost. I'm connected to millions of people spanning hundreds of years of prayer -- I'm not just stuck in this present moment where I can't see the good outcome.

Hi Marie & Karen...So happy for the month of Mary.
we have crowned Mary for her month.
What a wonderful idea. Thank you for your post about that. we just never thought of it.

Also we have an outdoor statue & flower garden & blessed & crowned Mary there too.
So grateful for your reminder.
Our Lady;s Sodality gave the first communicants rosaries.

You're in my thoughts & prayers. God bless You!

Maryann, how beautiful that you have a statue of Our Lady in your flower garden. That must be a peaceful, special place for prayer. Years ago a family friend gave us some seeds to plant a "Mary Garden". wish I had a greener thumb.

this photo touches my heart: "tip-toeing to Mary"

(5/30 edit: sorry my 1st link went to another page; hopefully this will work now.)

Remembering your prayer intentions and those of all our associates.
Peace be with you.

Maryann, wish I could see your Mary garden! We have some wild roses that are so beautiful but they are no longer in bloom. Right now we have daisies and brown-eyed susans. I misplaced my list of the Mary Garden titles for each flower and need to find them again. This is one that I added: dwarf balloon flower which I call "Mary, Star of the Sea".
God bless all of our members.
Prayers for all of our Troops and Veterans on Independence Day tomorrow.
